To deliver the best support and expedite the process, please provide as much information as possible. While we are enthusiastic about supporting all Yellow Ribbon Reintegration Program events, please note that submitting a Project YES support request does not guarantee approval or the ability to fulfill the request. |
Criteria
In evaluating your request for Project YES support, we require that your event fulfills the following requirements:
In-Person Events:
In-Person Events:
- A minimum attendance of 15 (in-person events) youth and teens (cumulative) aged 6-17.
- The opportunity to present a minimum of 8 hours of Project YES curriculum (with a minimum of 4 hours daily for multi-day events) or 6 hours of curriculum for single-day events.
- If meals are not provided, interns must be given the opportunity for a 1-hour meal break (lunch and dinner dependent upon the time and length of the event).
NOTE: Please contact the Director, Project YES for exemptions or to discuss alternate scheduling opportunities.

Additional Information
The Requesting Official or Event POC must contact the Director immediately to discuss substantial changes affecting previously approved support requests.
Project YES will provide a status determination regarding the ability to support your event approximately one month prior to the event month. Requesting officials will be notified via email regarding Project YES ability to support the event. If your event is approved, you will be provided all necessary information to move forward with event planning and logistics.
For in-person events, note that Project YES teams may not fully meet your specific service or organizational adult-to-youth ratios. The requesting organization remains ultimately responsible for all required staffing in order to meet manning ratios and to fulfill all Line of Sight Supervision (LOSS) requirements. Project YES services are provided within the construct of youth development programming (not child care services). Accordingly, Project YES programs or services should not be deemed as a substitute for child care services.
Together, we can continue working towards enhancing the daily lives of military families and youth. We look forward to working with you in the future!
