Project YES is a national internship program engaging college students in service to meet the needs of reserve component military families. Specifically, Project YES expands the resources of the Yellow Ribbon Reintegration Program (YRRP) and other youth & teen-oriented programs. Our staff interns are provided an opportunity to give back to their communities and country through a year of service. Our staff Interns are provided first-class youth development educational and facilitation skills. In turn, Project YES interns facilitate youth programs at Reserve Component YRRP events throughout the nation.
Additionally, Project YES serves as a career development program. Staff interns are provided dedicated mentors who assist in the exploration and development of their career goals and in the completion of a career broadening learning project. This is all accomplished while meeting the critical needs of communities with high rates of families impacted by deployments and other military-related absences.
Project YES Proudly served over 28,800 children and youth in 49 states, 4 US territories and Germany. We look forward to working with more of the tremendous military youth serving their country in their own special ways!
